Arts Alive comes to the Nomads!

Arts Alive started way back in 1996 and has grown into the largest community arts festival in Mole Valley. Arts Alive began as a two-week literature festival taking place during the last two weeks of October and has continued every year since. The event kicks off on 26th September with street festivals in Dorking and Leatherhead town centres allowing artists, art groups and festival goers the chance to join together. Local award-winning actor John Gordon Sinclair has agreed to be this year’s festival patron.

Some highlights include an evening with Pam Ayres at Dorking Halls, a Mole Valey Film Festival including screenings of popular films in village halls throughout the district and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing at Dorking Halls.

This year is the Nomad Theatre’s 75th Anniversary so we will be joining in the festival fun with the production  ‘A Man of all Seasons’ which directed by John Norris. The production is on from Wednesday 7th to Saturday 10th October.
