“The Yeomen Of The Guard”is probably one of Gilbert and Sullivan’s most beloved operas. It takes place at the Tower of London during the reign of Henry VIII and involves strolling players, a nobleman condemned to death, subterfuge and disguise. All under the ever-looming presence of the Tower itself. There is also plenty of humour and beautiful music along the way, with something for everyone.
