Strephon is half a fairy, engaged to Phyllis, a ward of court. He hasn’t told her of his fairyhood less it frighten her. Alas she sees him with a young girl, actually his mother as fairies never grow old, and heartbroken, she decides to marry one of two elderly baronets instead! As in true Gilbert and Sullivan fashion it all gets sorted out but with a lot of laughter, some tears and a Nightmare song along the way
